Modern Methods, Problems of Operator Theory and Harmonic Analysis, and Applications 2022

April 24—29, 2022

ORGANIZERS

The organizing and program committees consist of leading researchers from Russia and other countries.

Description

Scientific and applied scientific lectures and reports will be presented. The range of topics will include the fundamental foundations of function theory and analysis, approximation theory and operator theory, methods and problems of harmonic analysis (methods of real and complex variables), the geometric theory of functions, complex and hypercomplex analysis, partial differential equations and systems, direct and inverse problems of mechanics, quantum mechanics and electrodynamics, dynamic systems, problems of analytical mechanics, probabilistic–analytical models and methods, bioinformatics, and mathematical modeling.

A number of conference sections will be organized jointly as the subject of cooperation with university research teams, teams from academia, and foreign research teams. Key speakers and conference participants are leading experts and scientists from Russia and more than 30 other countries: Austria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Greece, Germany, Georgia, Italy, Spain, Israel, Iran, Yemen, China, Canada, Colombia, Morocco, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Serbia, the USA, Turkey, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, Uzbekistan, Iraq, India, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, and Japan. Set within the framework of the conference, a short-term school for young scientists and students will also be run. World-class experts will give lectures on general areas in modern mathematics, focusing on promising subjects and applications. There will also be round tables to discuss interesting problems and lines of research in mathematics. One, “Women in Science and Education,” will be organized to discuss the contemporary and historical contributions women have made to the mathematical sciences. The organizing committee also plans to organize partial financial support for young participants and scientists from a number of emerging economies using their own funds as well as in cooperation with Russian and foreign funds. With the support of the international ISAAC community, an award competition will be organized among young scientists (for more information, visit http://otha.sfedu.ru/isaac/). Following the conference in 2022, a two-volume edition in the Mathematics and Statistics series published by the Springer Publishing House is planned, and it will include selected articles by 2022 conference participants. The first volume will be devoted to analysis, function theory and approximation theory, operator theory, and partial differential equations. The second will be composed of problems related to the analytical theory of probability, modeling issues associated with the theory, and issues having to do with bioinformatics and modeling living systems.
