Skoltech Centeris an international institute of science and technology in Moscow. The mission of Skoltech Center is to develop the tradition of worldwide excellence of Soviet and Russian mathematics and theoretical physics, and foster a new generation of scientists. Working in close collaboration with the Higher School of Economics, the Center has graduate programs led by top-level scientists (including two Fields medalists) that are aimed at giving researchers a grounding in mathematics and deep knowledge of mathematical physics. Skoltech Center regularly organizes conferences and schools on mathematical physics.

Description

Integrable systems have played an extremely important role in mathematical physics over the last 50 years. This conference will mainly focus on the method of isomonodromic deformations, which is a non-autonomous generalization of the Lax Pair approach to classical integrable systems. This research area has deep connections to new mathematical objects such as discrete Painlevé equations, integrable probability, cluster varieties and dimer models.

Objectives

The conference aims to continue the tradition of Skoltech Center to bring together distinguished mathematicians and mathematical physicists from all over the world and talented graduate students and postdocs for scientific discussions. To support the participation of graduate students, early career researchers, and other underrepresented categories, we are planning grants to help offset the cost of attending the conference. We also anticipate active interest from local participants.
